At Edison Electronics we turn ideas, designs and technical requirements into real electronic devices that are manufacturable and ready to scale.
Over more than three decades we have evolved from our first electronic assemblies to establish ourselves as an end-to-end technology partner, able to support our clients across the entire product life cycle: design, industrialization, manufacturing, optimization and continuous improvement.
We don't work from fixed molds or off-the-shelf solutions. We work on specific technical challenges, bringing industrial judgment so that every project can move forward with viability, control and long-term stability.
An evolution built from the shop floor
The history of Edison Electronics isn't a string of isolated milestones, but a constant evolution: more capacity, more control, more engineering and more commitment to every product we make.

1995
Family origins
Edison Electronics is born as a family project in the dining room of a home in the Horta neighborhood of Barcelona. Manual production and the first electronic assemblies, all done entirely at home.

2006
Industrial leap to Badalona
Opening of a 350 m² unit with a structured production line and a team of six. Àngel and Marc Martínez join actively, taking on key responsibilities in R&D, technical service, production and machinery procurement.

2014-2017
Professionalization and expansion
Achievement of ISO certifications and rollout of quality processes that cement operational reliability. Expansion into a 700 m² unit with two complete production lines and a team of 12 professionals.

2019-2022
In-house engineering and generational transition
Consolidation of the engineering department with the addition of four engineers and the coating line for protecting electronic boards. The gradual handover from the first generation begins, preparing the future leadership.

2023-2024
A new era of leadership
Ángel Martínez is appointed CEO and the company moves to its current 1,000 m² headquarters, with three production lines and a team of more than 30 people. Edison Electronics makes the leap from EMS services to developing its own solutions with the Lepilum Street Charger.

Industry 4.0 and advanced traceability
Rollout of a smart warehouse, the addition of laser marking on electronic boards and the upgrade of the third production line to strengthen efficiency, control and traceability.
